Many self-help support groups are made up of people who have hepatitis C and meet at regular intervals. Families and friends are usually welcome too although it is best to check first. These groups can be one of the best sources of information. They provide peer support, a place to give and get information, share experiences, tips, feelings and thoughts with others who know what you’re going through.
Some support groups are set up independently of clinics, hospitals or other agencies, whilst others are initiated by or held within them.
See UK Support Groups for details of support groups in the UK and The Hepatitis C Trust Support Groups for details of all the groups which we run at the Trust's offices in London.
